NES Emulator

Play NES games right inside Minecraft. The game is drawn on top of your screen, so you never have to leave your world.

Installing

1. Run .marketplace subscribe 811. The script runs on the ScriptAPI add-on, so subscribe to that as well with .marketplace subscribe 771.
2. Put your .nes ROMs into .minecraft/LiquidBounce/scripts/nes_emulator/roms/.
3. Restart the game.
4. Open the ClickGUI, pick a ROM in NES Emulator under Fun and enable the module.

No games are included. Free homebrew games like Nova the Squirrel and Thwaite are a good place to start.

Every button can be rebound in the module settings.

Good to know

• There is no sound.
• The common mappers (NROM, MMC1, UxROM, CNROM, MMC3, AxROM) and a few more are supported, which covers most NES games.
• The ROM list is read when the script loads, so restart the game after adding ROMs.
• A new ROM or region takes effect the next time you enable the module.

The emulator core is based on JSNES. The screenshots show Nova the Squirrel by NovaSquirrel and Thwaite by Damian Yerrick, both free and open source.
